Yeah, I caved and got one. I can justify it as a business expense though, and I do plan to use it for work related purposes.

This beast will be mine on Tuesday. I’ve been wanting an 70′s Ibanez SG for a long time, and I will soon have one. I highly recommend you guys check out the Music Swop Shop for any of your awesome gear requirements. The guy’s there are fucking awesome. I rolled in to the shop 5 minutes before closing time and they still let me dick around on this thing for like 15 minutes, and they’re holding it for me till Tuesday.

I don’t know why I didn’t do it like this in the first place.

I’ve been toying with the idea of converting some software I’ve written (in Python) into a scripting language. Or library. I haven’t really figured that out yet.

I guess the pro’s of making it a library are that people who are already familiar with Python can use it with little to no learning curve. The cons to this are that I am a controlling jerk, and maybe I don’t want people to be able to use my code however they please.

Creating my own scripting language is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and this would be the perfect project to do it. But maybe I just want bragging rights and an online community who worship everything I do. Those are standard fare for the people who create their own languages. Like I said, controlling jerk.

Stop packaging your god damn backup software on my external hard drive. Whatever magic your software does can’t be easier than the click and drag system I’ve been using for the past forever.

If I wanted to use your crappy software to backup my files… I guess I’d install them and use them or something.
